Cardiovascular Steering Group

The Cardiovascular Strategic Clinical Network Steering group brings clinicians, commissioners, public health experts and patients together to apply their knowledge and expertise to issues of strategic importance to cardiovascular health and social care across the South West.

The group will:

  • Ensure work plans are linked with partners to avoid duplication
  • Identify areas of commonalities which can cross work streams
  • Coordinate clinical guidelines, policies and procedures for recommended use across the South West
  • Monitor performance of the Commissioning Advisory Groups against the delivery of the work plan
  • Advise and make recommendations on service development for cardiovascular disease
