Protecting pregnant women and their babies: how to improve vaccination uptake
The South West Maternity and Children’s Strategic Clinical Network and Public Health England are working in partnership to improve the uptake of vaccinations during pregnancy, with an event being held on Thursday 20th November, 10.00 – 15.00, at Exeter Racecourse.
We are seeking to bring together expertise and input from relevant organisations to participate in the day. The event will focus on agreeing an approach to improve the uptake of vaccinations during pregnancy, including seasonal influenza and pertussis, across the South West in order to improve the health of mothers and infants. We are pleased to announce that our guest speaker will be Dr Mary Ramsay, Head of Immunisation at Public Health England.
