Influencing change in Health & Social services in the South West

The South West SCN is holding this joint event with the South West Forum to develop ways of influencing change in Health and Social Care services in the South West.

The event will focus on the Voluntary and Community Sector, Health and Wellbeing Boards, Healthwatch and aims to provide:

  • Improved understanding about the different mechanisms and methods of influencing changes to Health and Social Care in the South West
  • Improved networks across the South West leading to more opportunities for collaboration to bring about change in Health and Social Care
  • Increase in understanding of current commissioning landscape, how to engage with key decision makers

This event would suit:

  • Voluntary Sector (Including Health and Well Being Board Reps)
  • Healthwatch Chairs
  • Healthwatch representatives who are on a decision making body or staff from the operational team,
  • South West Citizens Assembly members
  • Healthwatch Lead Commissioners/JSNA leads from Local Authorities
  • Other lay reps across Health & Social Care
  • Patient and Public Engagement/Involvement Leads,
  • Anyone who wants to improve how patients, users and voluntary and community groups can be better engaged and have real influence.
