Are we making a difference?

The outcomes and evaluation steering group is chaired by Louise Witts (Director of Integration, South West Academic Health and Science Network).

The group will:

  • Develop a consistent approach to base-lining and monitoring the impact of change for use in all implementation sites
  • Include experience of people using the service
  • Include impact on health and wellbeing
  • Include financial impact
  • Include staff experience of change methods
  • Work with the national team to support creation of the national evaluation framework

People from these organisations are helping us to ensure our evaluation is robust: South West Academic Health Science Network (SWAHSN), PenCHORD, Avon Primary Care Research Collaborative PenCLAHRC and the National Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) evaluation team. The group has developed an evaluation framework on page and an evaluation flow chart to show how they were taking this work forward.

The National IPC Programme Board asked us to tell them about our initial planning. This is what we said: South West IPC Evaluation planning April 2015
